Q. Can I book and not pay my 20% booking fee/deposit?
A. No, unfortunately bookings cannot be secured without a booking fee or full payment. This is due to the background work involved, i.e admin costs, arranging staff, vans etc. Booking fees/deposits are non-refundable but they enable you to transfer you booking to a new date instead if you have to cancel.

Q. Do you provide safety mats?
A. Yes, safety mats are provided with all Bouncy Castles and other inflatable items where appropriate.
Q. What time will it be set up?
A. This depends on the time of your event and if it is in a venue or your garden. We try to fit in with what you want especially of course if you've booked a venue.
We deliver to Essex, Suffolk and Herts - check out our delivery prices when you book online or if you can't see your postcode give us a call and we will see what we can do.
Our delivery times are approximate when you book. We deliver in the morning between 8 and 11 am and collect in the afternoon between 4 and 6 pm. If you are delivered to later you'll be collected later. You can pay a £25 late-pick-up charge or a £30 overnight charge. Overnights are picked up the next morning between 9 and 12 noon.
Pls note during the busy Spring/Summer months (our peak season) we can't always guarantee timed deliveries so please check with us first before booking a bouncy castle for a hall where you have to be in and out at certain times. If you do need a specific delivery and/or collection time during our peak season (1st April to 30th September) then there will be a £20 surcharge whether it is a hall or garden booking.
You can, of course, book two whole days if you want the castle for two whole days. Look out for our special offers over school holidays or midweek 2 day specials though.
Q. How many children/adults are allowed on at once?
A. This depends on the size of the castle and the age of people using the Bouncy Castle. Recommended number and height of users are advised or pointed out to you on our arrival depending on which castle you hire.
Q. Can I mix ages?
A. No, this is not a good idea. It is best to either have a separate Bouncy Castle or to only allow children of a similar age and size on at the same time.
Q. How long does a day's hire last?
A. This can vary depending on your venue, how long your party is and how long you would like the inflatables. We try and fit in with when you would like them delivered if we can (see above). Children's castles are normally picked up between 5-6pm latest during summer hours and 4-5pm winter hours due to safety.
Q. Is your equipment safe?
A. Yes, all of our inflatables are tested each year to ensure that they reach strict safety standards. All our electrical equipment is PAT tested each year.
Q. How much space do I need to fit in a castle?
A. Obviously the more space you have the better. You will need more space at the front and back to allow for the blower and mats. 1-2 foot either side and 3-4 foot at the back for the blower. Please check this accurately as if we turn up and the castle doesn't fit we will not be able to refund you for the booking once we have already left the unit.
We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location. Inflatables must be pegged into real grass and the whole inflatable must fit on the grassy area. The Hirer should inform us of any potential underground obstructions such as oil, sewerage, sprinkler systems or wiring for garden lighting. If something should occur to do with this and we have not been notified we do take any responsibility. If we can’t site the inflatable on arrival then the paid amount cannot be refunded.
Q. Can I put a Bouncy Castle indoors?
A. Yes, many of our inflatables are designed to go indoors and we have been to many venues in the local area please ask if you are unsure.
Q. Can I put a Bouncy Castle on the communal grass near my house/flat?
A. No, we cannot put inflatables on communal or council-owned land without permission from the land-owners. We also don't deliver to pubs, sorry this is due to insurance!
Q. Are dogs or small animals allowed on your equipment?
A. No animals should not be let on the inflatables as it could cause damage to the castle, If this does occur there will be an additional charge for repair/replacement dependent on the damage caused.
Q. When it's hot can I put water on the slide?
A. No! If water and or any detergent has been applied to ANY of our equipment there will be an additional charge to the hirer due to us then having to then clean/dry the equipment. This can be up to £50!
Q. What if it's a wet day and I want to cancel?
A. As long as we have not left the unit, then the inflatable can be cancelled but there are cancellation terms which you will have seen upon booking. In adverse weather conditions or if high winds that have been forecast WE may have to cancel your booking due to safety but this is a last resort on our behalf. As all bookings require a non-refundable booking fee, there will have already been a 20% payment made to secure the items, this enables you rearrange your booking to a different date or transfer that payment to a different booking.
Q. How do we know that you are reliable?
A. Ask any of your friends who have hired an item from us! We pride ourselves on providing a professional, reliable service or check our feedback / Facebook reviews.
Q. Access to our garden is difficult - can you go up steps?
A. This depends on how many steps there are and the size of the garden. For the smaller items a few steps are not normally a problem but we may require help from you please inform us on booking. If it is going to be a long set up, we may require extra payment for the time/staff to set up the job. Please call us to discuss.
Q. We have booked a Bouncy Castle and the birthday child is taken ill on the morning. Can we cancel?
A. Yes, as long as we have not left the unit already, but please let us know as soon as possible. We will try to transfer your booking to another date but if not, then please remember the booking fee is non-refundable.
Q. Can the Bouncy Castle be used in wet weather?
A. Our inflatables are safe to be used in light showers and all extension cables are fitted with RCD's so would cut out if they became dangerous. However, in heavy or continuous rain, inflatables should not be used. But please DO NOT turn the inflatable off.
Please be aware if heavy rain is forecast we may have to reschedule as we can't put castles up in heavy rain. Also during the autumn and winter months we can't hire out our bigger items as they can't be dried if they get wet from either rain or overnight dew.
Q. Can my teenager go on a child's castle?
A. We have a Bouncy Castles and other inflatable perfect for teenagers and adults alike - please see the Adults' bouncy castles for more information.
Q. What is the refundable ballpit fee?
A. This is a fee we add to your booking but is refundable as long as at the end of the party all the balls are back in the bins/bag we have left with you.
Q. We take great pride in our lawn - will the Bouncy Castle damage it?
A. The Bouncy Castle should only flatten the grass temporarily. We do also need to secure the Bouncy Castle to the ground using stakes and for this reason we don't accept any bookings on Astro Turf. Pls do not treat your grass within 24 - 48 hours before our arrival as these treatments stain our castles.
Q. How are the inflatables secured down to stop them moving?
A. All our inflatables are pegged to the ground, or where on solid ground we will secure the castles with sand bags for indoor use only. WE CANNOT USE SAND BAGS ON OUTDOOR HIRES due to health and safety laws. If you have Astro then unfortunately we cannot fulfill your booking. If we arrive to deliver your castle and it is on Astro and at that point you say we can't peg through with our 380mm x 50mm x 16mm bouncy castle pegs then we will still have to charge you for full delivery as it has been a confirmed booking and left the unit. You MUST NOT move a castle once we have set it up as this completely voids the insurance.
Q. Are bounce day tickets refundable?
A. Indoor bounce days are non-refundable as we have a capacity in each hall and we nearly always sellout. Outdoor bounce days can be transferred to another date as we don't have a capacity therefore your space can easily be filled.
Q. What are the details of the Evo Loyalty Scheme?
A. Once your loyalty card is filled up with 8 of your booking reference numbers, either ticket bookings or councy castle hire bookings then you receive either a free ticket to an Evo bounce event or 20% off a bouncy castle hire. The Ts&Cs are below:

Delivery Policy
The cost of delivering to a particular area will be revealed when you choose this area. We may be able to deliver outside the areas available on our website. If you are outside of the areas shown on our website, please contact us to see if we can help you out.
If we are unable to provide your delivery due to adverse weather, vehicle failure, illness or any other factor, we will inform you of this at the earliest possible opportunity. Event times must be noted during the booking process.
Please ensure that there is adequate space for our products, that the location our products will be sited is accessible, and that you have cleared the area of mess and debris. We will be unable to provide a refund if we cannot deliver your product due to a lack of space or accessibility or due to an inappropriate location. Please note we cannot come through houses to deliver bouncy castles. Please ensure you know the location and its size and type of ground, you need to bear in mind the space needed and the ground needs to be solid enough for us to peg into, we can't peg into waterlogged ground.
