The Pavilion.
Our Pavilion is a Barn style venue. With light oak beams, glass fronted floor to ceiling windows that overlooks the lake, it is a great location for your Wedding Breakfast. It can seat up to 150 guests for a meal and 250 for an evening.
The Secret Garden.
The Secret Garden is for Festival style Weddings. Marquess, Tipis, Funfairs, the possibilities are endless. The Secret Garden is located behind our lake. The great thing about its location says it all in its name “The Secret Garden” Your guests will be completely unaware that it is there throughout your reception drinks and canapes and will only realise when you take your seats for your Wedding breakfast.
The grounds are picturesque with a mature tree woodland, the stunning lake and landscaped gardens. We are also located 5 minutes from East Mersea Beach.
When hiring East Mersea Hall, it is exclusively yours.
East Mersea Hall is licensed for Civil ceremonies both inside and outside. We also have the beautiful Saint Edmunds Church situated on our grounds.
Couples may also like to marry in the Woodland Ceremony Retreat. This is located in our tranquil woodland area behind the lake. This is a non-legal ceremony, conducted by a Celebrant, in conjunction with a ceremony at a Registry Office.
