We are licensed for civil ceremonies up to 130 guests and also have two ideal wedding reception venues to choose from. Our versatile banqueting suites have bars and capacity seating for 50 to 150 guests making Mulberry House one of the leading wedding venues in Essex for weddings of all sizes.
Our Mulberry Suite has two exquisite chandeliers and exposed beams whereas our Marquee has floor to ceiling white drapes with a private decking terrace. We also have the ideal drinks reception venue located overlooking our grounds and lake; perfect for group shots with your friends and family!
Not only are we considered to be one of the best wedding venues in Essex we also have 22 bedrooms onsite within our hotel. The hotel rooms are situated within a listed Georgian house as well as our outside courtyard rooms. Whilst we have subtly converted the venue into a beautiful hotel and wedding venue with accommodation, we have kept in mind the fantastic history of the building, which offers a combination of traditional Georgian architecture with modern 21st-century additions offering the flexibility and standard you require.
